Garia and Dakshineswar. Two new routes have been added, running from New Garia to Ruby and Joka to Majerhat. Additionally, an East-West Metro line operates between Sealdah and Sector Five, and Howrah Maidan to Esplanade. Over the past decade, the metro has expanded by another 30 km, with further expansion planned. The Kolkata Metro initially ran with non-AC coaches but transitioned to fully AC coaches in 2010. The 40th anniversary of the metro is being celebrated with reminiscences from the two drivers who operated the first train on that day.

New Garia aur Dakshineswar tak extend ho gaya hai. Do new routes add kiye gaye hain, New Garia se Ruby aur Joka se Majerhat tak. Iske alawa, East-West Metro line bhi chalti hai, Sealdah aur Sector Five, aur Howrah Maidan se Esplanade tak. Last 10 saalon mein, metro aur 30 km tak phail gaya hai, aur aage bhi expand hone wala hai. Kolkata Metro pehle non-AC coaches mein chalti thi, par 2010 mein fully AC coaches mein badal gayi. Metro ka 40th anniversary celebrate kiya ja raha hai, us din pehle train chalane waale do drivers ke reminiscences ke saath.
