This project will directly connect Nawada to the national capital and the state capital, making it easier for locals to travel to Patna and Delhi. The new railway line is expected to improve connectivity between Nawada and Nalanda districts, with trains currently running between Rajgir and Tilaiya in Nawada district. The project was announced in 2017, but faced delays after the survey and DPR were submitted. With the approval of the final location survey, work is expected to progress rapidly.
