The NSG1 category, which includes 28 stations based on passenger numbers and revenue, features eight stations from the Central Railway (including Mumbai), while the Southern Railway is represented by Chennai, Egmore, and Tambaram. Notably, no Kerala railway station has made it to this list. The other top-performing stations in Kerala are Ernakulam Junction, Kozhikode, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kannur, Palakkad Junction, and Kollam, all listed in order of revenue and passenger count.
