Save Pune Traffic Movement is idea ko support karta hai, lekin unhone yeh suggest kiya hai ki Metro projects mein heavy investment karne se pehle basic bus-based systems ko improve kiya jaaye. Pune ke auto unions ka kehna hai ki Metro stations ke paas autos ke liye proper infrastructure nahin hai, jisse passengers ko transportation find karne mein difficulty hoti hai. Last-mile connectivity ka challenge abhi bhi bahut bada hai kyunki buses half-hour interval pe chalti hain aur aakser late hoti hain, passengers ko Metro station se nikalne ke baad immediately transportation ki jarurat hoti hai.
