These trainsets, designed and developed in-house by BEML in Bengaluru, feature high-tensile stainless steel construction for durability and safety, along with two roof-mounted air conditioners per car for passenger comfort. They are equipped with an IP-based PA and PIS system for station information, a surveillance system, and LCD-based route map displays. Passenger safety is enhanced by electrically driven automatic doors synchronized with Platform Screen Doors. The project includes comprehensive maintenance services for up to 15 years under the Bangalore Metro Rail Project Phase 2, 2A, and 2B.
