CPI ne Chief Minister se ye bhi kaha ki woh centre pe pressure daale ki Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) ko public ownership mein rakhe ya SAIL mein merge kar de, aur Polavaram project, jo Andhra Pradesh ke liye bahut jaroori hai, ko jaldi se pura kiya jaaye.
