The North Western Railway is undertaking a survey to add a second track between Debari and Umarada stations, a 24km stretch, to address the growing number of trains and passengers. The double track will benefit trains traveling from Udaipur to Kota, Jaipur, and other states like Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra....

The survey will determine the feasibility of adding the second track, including identifying locations for bridges, tunnels, land acquisition, and curves. This project aims to reduce travel time, accommodate more trains, and increase revenue. The survey will be followed by the development of a detailed project report (DPR) which will be submitted to the Railway Board for approval. Once approved, the construction will commence. The project will also benefit the Udaipur-Umarada route, which connects to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and South India, as new trains will be introduced after electrification between Udaipur and Himmatnagar is completed.

Udaipur se Debari aur Umarada station ke beech 24 km track par second line banane ka kaam jaldi shuru hone wala hai. North Western Railway ne iske liye survey bhi shuru kar diya hai. Railway Board se approval milne ke baad is par kaam shuru hoga. Is route par double line...

banne se Udaipur se Kota, Jaipur, aur Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra jaise alag alag states jaane wali trains ko faayda hoga. Aajkal bahut zyada passengers hai, aur is wajah se naye trains chalaye ja rahe hain. Par ek hi rail line hone ki wajah se trains ko beech raste rokna padta hai aur ek ke baad ek nikalna padta hai. Is problem se nipatne ke liye, construction department ki team survey kar rahi hai. Survey ke dauraan dekha ja raha hai ki kahaan line bithai ja sakti hai, kahaan bridge banane ki jarurat padegi, kahaan land acquire karna padega, kahaan curves honge, kahaan tunnel ki jarurat padegi etc. Isse trains ki speed badhegi aur passengers ka time bachega. Harch din, Khajuraho train 20-25 minutes ke liye Rana Pratap Nagar station par rukti hai. Intercity train, City Station se chal ke, Rana Pratap Nagar station pahunchne ke baad, Khajuraho train chalti hai. Is tarah, roz ek train ko nikalne ke liye doosri train ko bahut der tak outer par rokna padta hai, jisse time waste hota hai aur passengers ka bhi time waste hota hai. Naya track banne se trains time se pahuchenge, aur alag alag new trains bhi chalai jaa sakengi, jisse railway ka revenue bhi badhega. Udaipur se 11 km dur Umarada station tak bhi double line banne se faayda hoga, jiske zariye Ahmedabad, Mumbai aur South India jaane wali trains chalti hain. Is saal Udaipur aur Himmatnagar ke beech electrification ka kaam poora hone ke baad, naye trains bhi chalenge, jiske chalne mein bhi aasaan hoga.
