A bag was found near the body and a diary inside mentioned Motipur in Muzaffarpur, leading to the notification of Motipur Police. The body has been sent for post-mortem while authorities await the arrival of the deceased's family. The station superintendent in Goraul mentioned that villagers suspected the young man was pushed off a train during a robbery on board the Lichchavi Express, which runs between Sitamarhi and Anand Vihar, early in the morning.

Goraul ke station adhikshak Ankit Kumar ne bataya ki gaon walon ne aashanka jataai hai ki ladke ko train se chhinta chhapti ke dauraan train se dhakka diya gaya hoga. Ghatna ke waqt subah mein Sitamarhi-Anand Vihar jaane wali Lichchavi Express gujari thi.
