Gwalior News:

The General Manager (GM) of North Central Railway visited the Gwalior railway station on Saturday, inspecting the ongoing redevelopment project. While local officials tried to hide the station's disarray, only showing the GM areas in good condition, the GM expressed concern over the lack of greenery on platform 4 and instructed...

officials to create a green zone. He also stressed the importance of safety during construction work, particularly during the rainy season. The GM inspected the station from platform 3, then conducted a window trailing inspection between Gwalior and Jhansi, followed by a meeting with officials in Jhansi. During a presentation in the VIP room, the power kept tripping, forcing the GM and DRM to manually move furniture. The GM stated that the station redevelopment is expected to be completed by March 2025, but couldn't clarify the percentage of work completed so far. The actual progress is estimated at less than 35%, raising doubts about the completion timeline. The project involves constructing the roof, concourse, lifts, escalators, and their testing, which will take several months. The GM emphasized separate entry and exit points for crowd management, with the model approved by engineers from Roorkee and the design from Nagpur.

Gwalior railway station pe redevelopment project chal raha hai, aur Saturday ko North Central Railway ke General Manager (GM) ne station ka inspection kiya.

GM ne yeh bhi kaha ki construction work ke time, especially rainy season me safety ka dhyaan rakhna chahiye. VIP room me presentation ke time, power bar bar trip ho raha tha, is wajah se GM aur DRM ko khud se sofa aur table hataana pada. Is wajah se, March 2025 tak kaam complete hone par shak hai. Iska reason hai ki roof, concourse, lifts, escalators aur unki testing me hi kaafi time lagega. GM ne kaha ki crowd management ke liye alag alag entry aur exit points honge. Roorkee ke engineers ne model approve kiya hai aur Nagpur se design तैयार kiya gaya hai.
