The government has also requested more general compartments in trains, although the reinstatement of senior citizen benefits is being contested by the Railways. A new passenger train has been introduced on the Shoranur-Kannur route, with a request for extension to Kasaragod. Adalat-like meetings for passenger concerns will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Kozhikode. A LiDAR survey is underway for the 236 km Nilambur-Nanjangud railway line.

Bharat ke liye dusre trains ko rukne ka practice kam kiya jayega. Government ne trains mein zyada general compartments ka bhi request kiya hai, though Railways senior citizens ke benefits ko vapas lane ke request se agree nahi hai. Shoranur-Kannur route pe ek new passenger train start ho gaya hai, aur government ne Kasaragod tak extend karne ka demand kiya hai.
