The broad gauge conversion work is also underway from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar to Sanavad. The Patalpani platform is ready, but the track connecting it to the platform is yet to be completed. The Heritage Train, which operates from Patalpani to Kalakund during the monsoon season, offers scenic views. Passengers currently have to travel to Patalpani by auto-rickshaw from Mhow, which is expensive. Once the broad gauge conversion is complete, passengers will be able to directly reach Patalpani Station, making the Heritage Train more accessible.
