to meet the Finance Minister and request her to deny approval. 19 UDF and BJP MPs from Kerala will be present during these meetings. The protest committee has also planned to organize protests before the local and state elections. This comes after the new central government took charge and the state government requested approval for the SilverLine project. The state finance minister raised the request during pre-budget discussions with the central finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman. Besides the SilverLine project, the state government requested financial aid to address its financial crisis, including a ₹24,000 crore package for two years, an increase in the borrowing limit to 3.5% of the GSDP, a support price increase for rubber, a ₹5000 crore package for the Vizhinjam port, and permission to borrow ₹6000 crore for national highway development. They also requested a 75% central share for centrally sponsored schemes, an increase in the central share for welfare pensions, and housing construction schemes.

Yeh sab tab hua hai jab se new central government ne charge liya hai aur state government ne SilverLine project ke liye approval ki request ki. State finance minister ne central finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman ke saath pre-budget discussion ke dauraan yeh request ki. SilverLine project ke alawa, state government ne apne financial crisis ko handle karne ke liye financial aid ki bhi request ki, jismein do saal ke liye ₹24,000 crore ka package, borrowing limit ko GSDP ka 3.5% tak badhana, rubber ke liye support price increase, Vizhinjam port ke liye ₹5000 crore ka package, aur national highway development ke liye ₹6000 crore loan lene ki permission shamil hai.
