Covid-era nomenclature: Railway withdraws decision to renumber passenger trains
The Southern Railway's planned renumbering of passenger trains, scheduled to begin on July 1st, 2024, has been canceled. The renumbering was intended to align with pre-Covid practices, where train numbers starting with '0' would be replaced by numbers beginning with 5, 6, or 7. Southern Railway ka July 1st se start hone wala passenger trains ka renumbering cancel ho gaya hai. Pehle, June 10th ko aise announce kiya gaya tha ki train numbers jo '0' se start hote hain unko 5, 6, ya 7 se start hone wala numbers se replace kiya jayega, jaise Covid...
