Kanchanjunga train mishap: Indian Railways to hold inquiry on June 19

On June 17th, a goods train rear-ended the Kanchanjunga Express near Rangapani station, resulting in eight fatalities and 25 injuries. on June 19th at the ADRM/NJP’s chamber. The inquiry will investigate the incident and gather evidence from the public. The Kanchanjunga Express runs between Silchar (Assam) and Sealdah (Kolkata) and was en route to Sealdah when the collision occurred. Rescue operations were immediately initiated, with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw coordinating efforts between the Railways, NDRF, and SDRF. A control desk was established at Rangapani station, and a wagon from the Kanchanjunga Express was left suspended in the air.

Kanchanjunga Express Silchar (Assam) aur Sealdah (Kolkata) ke beech chalta hai aur Sealdah ja raha tha jab yeh accident hua. Rescue operations jaldi shuru kar diye gaye the, jisme Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ne Railways, NDRF aur SDRF ke beech coordination ki. Rangapani station pe ek control desk banaya gaya tha aur Kanchanjunga Express ka ek wagon hawa mein latka raha.
