Eastern Railway has increased the sectional speed on the 143 km long double-line section between Sitarampur and Jhajha from 110 kmph to 130 kmph. The increased speed will lead to an average time saving of 8 minutes for Vande Bharat trains and 11-12 minutes for long-distance trains with LHB coaches. In addition to the increased sectional speed, Eastern Railway is planning to build Road Under Bridges (RUBs) to replace several level crossings (LC) gates in this section.

ka travel time kam hoga. Is speed increase se Vande Bharat trains ke liye average 8 minute aur LHB coaches wali lambi duri ki trains ke liye 11-12 minute ki saving hogi. Is section me sectional speed badhane ke alawa, Eastern Railway is section me kai level crossings (LC) gates ko replace karne ke liye Road Under Bridges (RUBs) banane ki plan bhi bana raha hai.
