Collapse of overhead cable at Vadodara Yard affects number of trains

On Wednesday evening, a collapsed overhead cable in the Vadodara Yard disrupted train operations for approximately five hours. The Delhi-Ahmedabad rail traffic was restored at midnight. The restoration process took five hours, impacting train traffic on the Vadodara-Mumbai, Vadodara-Delhi, and Vadodara-Ahmedabad routes. Shakti, Saurashtra Janta, Vande Bharat, and Ektanagar-Dadar (Baroda Express), were affected, running about an hour late. The Karnavati Express was diverted to the Godhra line and sent to Ahmedabad. The Ahmedabad-Vadodara MEMU train was halted at Bajva station and later operated towards Ahmedabad.

Karnavati, Suryanagari, Double Decker, Navjivan, Lok Shakti, Saurashtra Janta, Vande Bharat, aur Ektanagar-Dadar (Baroda Express) jaise trains ko lagatar ek ghanta ki der hui. Karnavati Express ko Godhra line se divert kiya gaya aur Ahmedabad bheja gaya. Ahmedabad se Vadodara MEMU train ko Bajva station par rok diya gaya aur baad mein Ahmedabad ki taraf chala gaya.
