in Kilambakkam, with the CMDA allocating 20 lakhs rupees for the project. Construction began in August 2023 with an estimated completion date of August. However, progress has been slow, with only 50% of the work completed. Locals expect the station to be operational by the end of the year, hoping to ease travel between Chennai and Kilambakkam.

ne Kilambakkam mein ek railway station banane ka faisla kiya, aur CMDA ne project ke liye 20 lakh rupees allocate kiye. August 2023 mein construction shuru hui thi aur August mein complete hone ki ummeed thi. Lekin, kaam aage badh nahi paya, aur sirf 50% kaam complete ho paya hai. Local logon ko ummeed hai ki station saal ke aakhri mein operational ho jayega, jisse Chennai aur Kilambakkam ke beech travel aasaan ho jayega.
