Western Railway (WR) is converting 100 more 12-car local train services to 15-car services by the end of the year. at 14 stations along this route to accommodate them at a cost of Rs 60 crore. The project was completed despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. WR has a history of introducing new technologies and services, including AC locals in 2017, and has now become the first in the country to introduce 15-car services on slow lines. The increased capacity will benefit commuters, allowing 6,000 passengers to travel on a 15-car train compared to 4,000 on a 12-car train.

aur 14 stations par 27 platforms ko extend kiya hai, jisse 15-car trains aa-ja sakein. Is project par 60 crore Rupee kharch aaya hai. COVID-19 pandemic ke baad bhi yeh project pura ho gaya. WR har time naye technology aur services introduce karta hai, jaise ki 2017 mein AC locals. Ab WR slow lines par 15-car services introduce karne wala hai, jo ki country mein pehli baar ho raha hai. Isse commuters ko fayda hoga, kyunki 15-car train mein 6,000 passengers travel kar sakte hain, jabki 12-car train mein sirf 4,000 passengers travel kar sakte hain.
