The CRS also conducted a successful speed trial at a maximum speed of 120 km/h on the Hardua-New Mazhgavan section. The third line project, overseen by General Manager Shobhna Bandopadhyay, is progressing rapidly to enhance the capacity of the busy Katni-Bina coal route. This third line will relieve congestion on the existing route, facilitating the movement of freight and improving passenger train operations. The inspection was attended by senior officials from the West Central Railway Headquarters and the Jabalpur Division.
