In total, six accidents have occurred on the Kalyan-Thane route, resulting in five fatalities. Prior to these incidents, a passenger who protested against young men robbing other passengers on a local train was murdered. Following this incident, another shocking event took place between Khadavli and Vasind stations. The day before the Khadavli-Vasind incident, a young man was pushed off a moving train after a fight with four other individuals. The train ran over his hand, permanently disabling it, and his leg was fractured. This young man from Uttar Pradesh had just arrived in Mumbai a week ago with dreams for the future, which were tragically shattered in an instant.

Teen din pehle Kalyan aur Thakurli station ke beech local train se girne ki vajah se Mainuddin Shah naam ka ek ladka mar gaya tha. Ab tak Kalyan aur Thane route par 6 accidents ho chuke hain jisme 5 logon ki jaan gayi hai. Isse pehle, ek passenger ko local train mein chori karne wale ladkon ka virodh karne par uski hatya kar di gayi thi. Is ghatna ke baad Khadavli aur Vasind station ke beech ek aur ghatna hui. Khadavli aur Vasind ke beech ghatna se pehle hi, ek ladke ko chalti train se niche dhakka de diya gaya tha. Char logon ne usse train se niche dhakka de diya tha. Track par girne ke baad train ka chakka uske haath par chal gaya jisse uska haath kaayam ka nikammi ho gaya aur uska paon bhi fracture ho gaya. Uttar Pradesh ka yeh ladka ek hafta pehle hi Mumbai aaya tha aur apne sapne dekh raha tha, jo ek pal mein tut gaye.
