The railway authorities have not yet released the exact routes and timetables for the 48 special trains but have confirmed that they will be operating on routes connecting prominent cities and popular tourist destinations. The railways have also planned to increase the number of AC coaches in these trains, catering to the high demand for air-conditioned travel during the summer months. Currently, 58 summer special trains are already running between Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra, connecting key destinations such as Sambalpur, Puri, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Patna, and Hatia.
