RPF and GRP personnel, and the fire department. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The waiting hall was evacuated and a committee has been formed to investigate the incident. The fire was extinguished, but smoke remained until around 11 PM, preventing people from retrieving their belongings. RPF personnel assisted in retrieving belongings for those whose trains were departing.
