is expected to be completed by June this year. Officials said the DG RPF reached Banihal station from Srinagar by a special inspection rail car, along with the officials of the Northern Railway. He inspected the railway station and the RPF post. After this, he visited the Khadi-Sumbad and Sangaldan railway stations and inspected the deployment and security of the Railway Protection Force. Officials said that on Sunday, the DG RPF will review the security of the railway infrastructure in Srinagar and will also visit the Budgam-Baramulla rail line and station. The 48.1-kilometer-long Banihal-Sangaldan section of the country's most ambitious Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project was dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 20. Out of the total 272-kilometer-long USBRL project, 161 kilometers were launched in the earlier phases. The 118-kilometer-long first phase, the Kazigund-Baramulla section, was inaugurated in October 2009. This was followed by the inauguration of the 18-kilometer-long Banihal-Kazigund section in June 2013 and the 25-kilometer-long Udhampur-Katra section in July 2014.

Officials ne bataya ki DG RPF, Northern Railway ke officials ke saath Srinagar se ek special inspection rail car mein Banihal station par pahunche. Unhone railway station aur RPF post ka inspection kiya. Iske baad, unhone Khadi-Sumbad aur Sangaldan railway stations ka visit kiya aur Railway Protection Force ki deployment aur security ka inspection kiya. Officials ne bataya ki Sunday ko DG RPF Srinagar mein railway infrastructure ki security ki review karenge aur Budgam-Baramulla rail line aur station ka bhi visit karenge. Desh ki sabse ambitious Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project ke 48.1 kilometer lamba Banihal-Sangaldan section ko Prime Minister Narendra Modi ne 20 February ko nation ko dedicate kiya tha.
