an amicus curiae raised concerns about the impact on elephant migration and urged consultations with Kerala and Tamil Nadu's forest departments. Additionally, the Railways has completed widening of railway earth cutting on 2.3 kilometers between Madukkarai and Ethimadai and Kanjicode and Palakkad sections at a cost of Rs 1.93 crore. Further works for Rs 6.43 crore have been awarded to provide more space for elephants to move away from the tracks upon sighting trains.

gaya tha. Lekin amicus curiae ne yeh concern raise kiya ki isse elephant migration pe asar pad sakta hai aur unhone Railways se Kerala aur Tamil Nadu ke forest departments se baat karne ko kaha. Railways ne Madukkarai aur Ethimadai aur Kanjicode aur Palakkad sections ke beech 2.3 kilometer railway earth cutting ko widen karne ka kaam Rs 1.93 crore mein pura kar liya hai. Aage Rs 6.43 crore ke kaam ka contract diya gaya hai. Isse elephants ko train dekhne pe track se dur jaane ke liye aur space milega.
