been delayed due to land acquisition issues, hence the initial section will only connect Noapara to Dum Dum Cantonment. The 3km stretch between Noapara and Dum Dum Cantonment has already been completed, and speed trials at 73 km/h have been conducted successfully. However, additional work and improvements are required. The Orange Line of Kolkata Metro will be closed on March 28th and 29th for maintenance and inspection purposes.
