Two new routes will be introduced following the inauguration: one from High Court to Bolgatty with stops at Mulavukad North and South Chittoor, and another from South Chittoor to Cheranalloor via Eloor. This expansion will increase the total number of routes to five and the number of terminals to nine. The Water Metro has achieved significant success, transporting over 17.5 lakh passengers in ten months of operation. Minister P Rajeev highlighted the project's global recognition. Services to Fort Kochi are expected to start soon. Currently, 18 boats operate on three routes: High Court to Vypin, High Court to Bolgatty, and Vytilla to Kakkanad. The project is nearing completion, with terminals at Paliyamthuruth, Kumbalam, Willington Island, and Mattancherry under construction. Upon completion, the Kochi Water Metro will connect 10 islands with 18 boats and 38 terminals.

Isse total routes 5 aur terminals 9 ho jaayenge. Water Metro ne 10 months mein 17.5 lakh passengers ko travel karaya hai, yeh bahut bada achievement hai. Minister P Rajeev ne is project ko global recognition milne ki baat kahi. Fort Kochi tak service bhi jaldi start hone wali hai. Abhi 18 boats 3 routes pe chal rahe hain: High Court se Vypin, High Court se Bolgatty aur Vytilla se Kakkanad. Paliyamthuruth, Kumbalam, Willington Island aur Mattancherry ke terminals ka kaam jaldi complete hone wala hai. Project complete hone pe, Kochi Water Metro 18 boats aur 38 terminals ke saath 10 islands ko connect karega.
