Thiruvanantapuram-Kasargod Vande Bharat Express extended till Mangaluru

The Ministry of Railways has approved the extension of the Thiruvananthapuram-Kasargod Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20632/20631) to Mangaluru. am. The train will operate six days a week, except on Wednesdays. It will halt at Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode Main, Tirur, Shornur, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Alappuzha, and Kollam. Additionally, Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has requested the extension of the Mangaluru Central-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20646/645) to Mumbai CSMT, citing the need for a day-time service between the two cities. He suggests merging this train with the Mumbai CSMT-Madgaon-Mumbai CSMT Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 22229/30) and increasing the capacity of the train from eight to 16 coaches.

Train hafte mein chhe din chalega, Wednesday ko chhodkar. Train Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode Main, Tirur, Shornur, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Alappuzha, aur Kollam pe rukta hai. Iske saath hi, Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel ne Mangaluru Central-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20646/645) ko Mumbai CSMT tak extend karne ka request kiya hai, dono cities ke beech ek day-time service ki jarurat hai. Unhone is train ko Mumbai CSMT-Madgaon-Mumbai CSMT Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 22229/30) ke saath merge karne ka aur train ki capacity 8 se 16 coaches tak badhaane ka suggestion diya hai.
