more... Currently, three coaches are being inspected on the 900-meter test track in the depot. A total of 25 sets of coaches will be used for Metro operations in Indore. Four sets have already arrived at the Gandhi Nagar Depot, and another set is expected to arrive by the end of this month. These coaches will operate on the 5.9 kilometer Priority Corridor from Gandhi Nagar Station to TSS. The New Development Bank has provided a loan of ₹1600 crore for the construction of the Metro's elevated corridor. The Metro Rail Corporation has also received ₹1600 crore from the Asian Development Bank for the construction of the underground section, which will extend 8.8 kilometers from Regal Square to the airport and include seven stations. Tenders have already been issued for the construction of this section.
