of the new station building is set to begin at the end of February. The ground floor of the second terminal building on the west side is complete. A G+3 foot-over bridge is under construction and will eventually become a G+9 building. A sub-power station is also being built. Ajni station currently has three platforms and four more are being added. Upon completion of all buildings, the station's passenger capacity will increase to 44,000 per day. The redevelopment project began in 2023 and is scheduled for completion by May 2025.
