They are treating the incident as a deliberate act of sabotage. The Senior Section Engineer of the North Central Railway, Anuj Singh, who resides in Malviya Nagar George Town and is stationed in Manauri, reported the incident to the police. He stated that the train was informed by the control room that a large stone, approximately 70 meters long, had collided with the train near the boundary post at Chabilepur. The stone, which was intentionally placed on the track, broke apart on both sides of the railway line. Anuj Singh maintained that the train remained under control, preventing a major accident. The police are investigating the incident and have registered a case against unknown individuals.
