The railway line project was approved in 2018 and is estimated to cost ₹4940 crore, with completion expected in 2026. The land acquisition process has already been completed for the segment between Khalilabad and Bansi, and will now extend to the remaining sections. The first phase of the project, which includes surveying the route using satellite imagery, has been completed, and the second phase, encompassing Bansi to Balrampur, will now commence.

Is naye development se, land acquisition jaldi hoga aur project aage badh payega. This railway line project was approved in 2018, and budget of ₹4940 crore was approved for this 240 km long line. Project ka completion 2026 tak plan kiya gaya hai. Khalilabad se Bansi tak ka land acquisition ho chuka hai, and now the process will move to the remaining sections like Bansi to Balrampur, Shravasti, and Bahraich. The first phase of the project, which involved satellite imagery survey, has been completed. The second phase, from Bansi to Balrampur, will now start.
