Vande Metro trains with 8 coaches will be deployed. The Vande Bharat trains will operate as express trains between Jammu and Banihal, while the Vande Metro trains will act as local services. The USBRL project, encompassing 272 kilometers and including 38 tunnels, is significant for its economic potential, improving access to the Kashmir Valley for tourism and trade, and its strategic importance for military logistics. The line also features the world's highest railway bridge, the Chenab Bridge, and the T-49 tunnel, the longest in India.

Vande Bharat trains Jammu aur Banihal ke beech express trains ki tarah chalenge, jabki Vande Metro trains local services ki tarah. USBRL project, jismein 272 kilometers aur 38 tunnels hain, apni economic potential, Kashmir Valley mein tourism aur trade ko access improve karna, aur military logistics ke liye apni strategic importance ke liye important hai. Is line mein world ka sabse uncha railway bridge, Chenab Bridge, aur T-49 tunnel, India mein sabse lamba tunnel bhi hai.

There's no logic to start in winter. Govt probably wants to start it in mid-April before election schedule. If that's not possible then it will be Dussehra/Diwali.
