Rajak's mother stated that he had secured a job at CCL following his father's death and was posted as a security guard at the Magadh Project in the Amrapali area. She mentioned that he had not gone to work since Durga Puja and had left home on Wednesday morning. The family was informed of his death late that night.

Family se information milne ke baad, Bhadaninagar police raat me hi Bangra pahunch gaye aur shav ko kabje me le liya. Mritak ki maa ne bataya ki papa ke marne ke baad Keshav Rajak ko CCL me naukri mili thi. Woh Amrapali area ke Magadh Project me security guard ke post pe tha. Unhone bataya ki Durga Puja ke baad se Keshav duty nahi gaya tha. Wednesday ki subah woh ghar se nikla tha, aur raat me unhe uski death ki khabar mili.
