The AITC officials, after visiting the Chakradharpur hospital and meeting with patients, presented a detailed report to the CMS about the problems faced by railway employees. They demanded the appointment of MBBS, neurologists, ENT specialists, and dental specialists to address the shortage. The CMS acknowledged the shortage, stating that the number of doctors had reduced from 39-40 to 18-19. He assured that inappropriate behavior by doctors would not be tolerated and that the process of appointing doctors through contract was underway for hospitals in Bondamunda, Rourkela, and Chakradharpur.
