but struggled to meet the local production requirement mandated by the 'Make in India' initiative. In 2022, CRRC partnered with Titagarh Rail Systems to manufacture the coaches in India. The first train was initially scheduled for August 2023 but is now expected to arrive in Bengaluru by January or February 2024. The Yellow Line, connecting Electronics City and RV Road, is expected to be operational by June-August 2024, depending on the delivery of 8-10 trains and subsequent testing and trial runs.
