more... Rourkela Steel Plant and Marshalling Yard Displaced Committee (RSPMYDC), has threatened an economic blockade if their demand is not met. They argue that the land acquisition was illegal and that tribals were not adequately compensated. The RSPMYDC also alleges that the state government used the returned land for commercial purposes instead of returning it to the original owners.
