At last this project has started moving at brisk pace.In spite of being an alternative major North-South route, conversion of Ratlam-IND-Mhow-Khandwa-Akola MG route had long been neglected, while routes with relatively much lesser traffic & importance had already been converted, may be due to lack of political push. With PrabhuJi as head of IRlys, it is probably first time in last 2-3 decades that projects othrough out the length & breadth of the IRlys have started moving fast.
More stress shall be required for Sanawad- Mhow route especially the diverted alignment in order to reapreal benefits out of the project. Alternative route from IND-CSTM shall then be available.
