Rail ministry sets up committee to review freight, passenger traffic growth
To increase the passenger traffic growth ,IR have to add additional one or two Second Class Sitting Coaches with 108 passenger capacity in all the SF/Mail/Expresses/passenger Trains.This decision benefitted for the common and poor people with less cost but with assured seat in their travel.So the long distance passenger may be shifted from the buses to the train.
To increase the passenger traffic growth ,IR have to add additional one or two RESERVED Second Class Sitting Coaches with 108 passenger SITTING capacity in all the SF/Mail/Expresses/passenger Trains.This decision benefited for the common and poor people with less cost but with assured seat in their travel.So the long distance passenger may be shifted from the buses to the train.Sleeper class accommodate only 72 passenger where as Reserved Sitting class coaches accommodate 108 passenger ( ie ) Reserved Sitting Class coaches are accommodated , 50%more than a Sleeper class.
