The tracks haven't been upgraded to handle high-speed trains, causing disruptions to other trains. This issue is compounded by the fact that an eight-coach Vande Bharat train disrupts four or five other trains, impacting around 5,000 passengers, while only about 500 people travel on the Vande Bharat train. This has led to negative sentiment towards the service. The Vande Bharat chair car can only travel eight hours one way, limiting potential routes. Furthermore, the service does not operate from midnight to 5 am. The cost of building an eight-coach Vande Bharat is Rs 52 crore, and these 16 idle trains represent an investment of over Rs 800 crore.

a little over 825 passengers so far. To address this, the Railways are considering extending the route of the Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express to Varanasi. Officials believe this extension would increase passenger numbers and improve the train's performance. This strategy was previously successful in the case of the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat, which saw increased ridership after its route was extended to Prayagraj. The Vande Bharat Express is the fastest train on the Meerut-Lucknow route, taking only 7 hours compared to the 8:25 hours of Rajya Rani Express and 9:30 hours of Nauchandi Express. The train departs from Lucknow Charbagh at 2:45 PM and reaches Meerut at 9:55 PM daily. The return journey starts from Meerut at 6:35 AM and reaches Lucknow at 1:00 PM. The train operates six days a week, except on Tuesdays, making stops at Moradabad and Bareilly during both journeys. Senior DCM of North Railway, Rajnish Tiwari, highlighted the potential benefit of extending the Vande Bharat Express to Varanasi, especially during festivals. He believes it would provide passengers with greater convenience and make the train more viable.

Rajya Rani Express Meerut se Lucknow tak ka safar tay karne mein aamtaur par 8:25 ghanta ka samay leti hai to Nauchandi Express yeh duri 9:30 ghanta mein puri karti hai. Vande Bharat Express Meerut se Lucknow pahunchne mein sirf 7 ghanta hi lagati hai. Iske alawa Meerut se Lucknow ke beech jo Vande Bharat train chal rahi hai use Banaras tak chalane par manthan ho raha hai. Ummeed hai ki jaldi hi is par nirnay ho jaayega. Iske baad yeh train Meerut se chalkar Lucknow hote hue Banaras tak jaayegi. Isse bhi yaatriyon ko badi suvidha milegi.

They might have placed Rake at LKO not MTC , at LKO they can use this rake in multiple VBs .
The only solution to the present condition of this VB is its revocation and utilisation of rake on LKO MB SRE CDG route !

Iska matlab Kanpur walon ke liye Delhi aur Patna jaane ke liye pehli sleeper Vande Bharat Express ka tohfa milega. Shatabdi, Rajdhani ke raks bhi convert honge, railway officials ne bataya ki Kanpur se chalne wali Shatabdi Express, Rajdhani Express ke raks bhi Vande Bharat Express ke raks mein convert karne ki planning hai. Iski wajah ye hai ki Vande Bharat Express ke chair car aur sleeper raks Rajdhani Express ke coaches se zyada comfortable aur safe hain. Vande Bharat Express ke coaches train ko hara signal milte hi lock ho jaate hain.
