Howrah Station is situated on the western bank of the Hooghly River, connected to Kolkata by the famous Howrah Bridge. It handles over 1 million passengers and 600 trains daily, providing connectivity for long-distance express trains and suburban trains.

Station ka history mein bahut mahatva hai, kyunki ye eastern India mein pehla train journey se juda hai. Halsey Ricardo dwara design kiya gaya iska colonial architecture Victorian aur Gothic style ka mix hai. Howrah Station, Hooghly River ke western bank pe hai, aur famous Howrah Bridge se Kolkata se juda hai. Ye roj 1 million se zyada passengers aur 600 se zyada trains ko handle karta hai, long-distance express trains aur suburban trains ke liye connectivity provide karta hai.
