This move is crucial for the National Monetization Pipeline, which aims to monetize government assets, with railways aiming to raise over ₹1.5 trillion. While the plan has seen some progress through rail land development, station redevelopment and other initiatives are yet to take off. Recognizing RLDA as a local authority would facilitate faster development of railway land and support the government's monetization efforts.

Ye move National Monetization Pipeline ke liye bahut important hai, jiska aim hai ki government assets monetize kiye jaaye, aur railways ka target ₹1.5 trillion se zyada raise karna hai. Plan mein thodi progress hui hai rail land development ke through, lekin station redevelopment aur dusre initiatives abhi start nahi hue hain. RLDA ko local authority maan lene se railway land ka fast development hoga aur government ke monetization efforts ko support milega.
