The initiative utilizes a National Master Plan (NMP) with over 1,600 layers of geospatial data for efficient planning and design. Projects need approval from the NPG before proceeding to the finance ministry and Cabinet. The initiative has identified 156 critical infrastructure gaps and is working with states to integrate updated land record data. Nepal and Sri Lanka have shown interest in adopting this initiative.
