Singh secured first place in the Class 8 Hindi essay competition, Priya Banra won second place in Class 8, and D. Janshi secured second place in the Class 7 speech competition. The awards were presented at the Hindi Pakhwada closing ceremony on September 27th at the South Eastern Railway Headquarters in Garden Reach, Kolkata. The General Manager of the Railway, Anil Kumar Mishra, presented the certificates and cash prizes to the winners. Teachers from Chakradharpur Railway English Medium School were present at the event.
