track has been laid from Semra towards the left, and a new 3.5-kilometer track has been laid from Chailaha towards Motihari on the right. To create a down line (new track) and an up line (old track), the old track is being cut and connected to the new track separately near Chailaha. The Deputy Chief Engineer (Construction), D.S. Srivastava, Assistant Engineer (Construction) Rajkishor Prasad, Deputy Chief Electrical Engineer (Construction) Amit Kumar, Assistant Operation Manager Xavier Ekka, and Motihari Station Superintendent Dilip Kumar are monitoring the work.
