first day. The stoppage was approved after a protest led by Ramesh Chandra Advocate, president of the Rail Roko Sangarsh Samiti, on January 12th. MP Pakauri Lal Kol said the decision was taken to address the travel difficulties faced by the locals. The stop will be for 2 minutes for both up and down trains. The Ranchi-Chopan Swarna Jayanti Express and Chunar-Barwadih Passenger trains are also expected to get approval for stoppage soon. This station serves a large population from both Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. Locals from around a dozen gram panchayats in Palamu parliamentary constituency use this station to travel to Ranchi and other places in Jharkhand.

kiya. Rail Roko Sangarsh Samiti ke president Ramesh Chandra Advocate ke leadership mein 12 January ko protest kiya gaya tha. MP Pakauri Lal Kol ne kaha ki locals ko travel mein dikkat hone ki wajah se ye decision liya gaya hai. Up aur down dono trains ke liye 2 minute ka stop hoga. Ranchi-Chopan Swarna Jayanti Express aur Chunar-Barwadih Passenger trains ke liye bhi jaldi stoppage approval milne ki ummeed hai. Ye station UP aur Jharkhand dono states ke logon ko serve karta hai. Palamu parliamentary constituency ke around 12 gram panchayats ke log is station se Jharkhand ki capital Ranchi aur other jagah pe jaate hain.
