expensive AC tickets. Passengers are demanding refunds for the days the AC locals are cancelled. The issue has been exacerbated by the fact that AC locals are often cancelled at the same time as regular local services, causing overcrowding. The President of the Suburban Railway Passengers Association, Nandkumar Deshmukh, has suggested that if AC locals cannot operate, they should be completely cancelled on main lines like the Harbour and Trans Harbour lines. The Railway Passengers Association's Subhash Gupta has also demanded that passholders of AC locals be refunded and that the number of AC rakes be increased. The cancellations have been ongoing for several days, with a significant number of AC local services being cancelled on September 13th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, and 25th. The cancellations have been attributed to technical issues, including a damaged pantograph on September 16th.

Suburban Railway Passengers Association ke president Nandkumar Deshmukh ka kehna hai ki agar AC locals operate nahi ho sakte, toh unhe Harbour aur Trans Harbour lines jaise main lines pe se pura pura cancel kar dena chahiye. Railway Passengers Association ke Subhash Gupta ne bhi maang ki hai ki AC locals ke passholders ko unke paise वापस diye jaaye aur AC rakes ki number badhaye jaaye. Yeh cancellations last kuchh din se chal rahi hain, 13 September, 14 September, 16 September, 21 September, 23 September, aur 25 September ko bahut saare AC local services cancel hue hain. Yeh cancellations technical issues ki wajah se hue hain, jaise ki 16 September ko pantograph kharab hone ki wajah se.
