For example, a train like SBC departing at 2330, arriving at KPD by 0400, then to TNM by 0530, reaching PDY by 0800. The return journey from PDY starts at 2130, goes to TNM by 2345, then KPD by 0130, finally reaching SBC by 0530. The Bangalore terminal can be any of SBC, BNC, YPR, or YNK. If SR is active, the train sitting idle in Bangalore can head to Trichy as an Intercity train for maintenance. It can set off at 0700, reaching SA by 1115, and TPJ by 1300. Post maintenance, the train can start from TPJ at 1530, reach SA by 1745, SBC by 2215, and then proceed to Pondicherry.
