DATCC (District Archaeology, Tourism, and Culture Council) meeting chaired by Collector Ruchika Chauhan. The meeting also discussed the development of various tourist sites in urban and rural areas of the district. The initiative will involve collaboration with the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) to organize at least three trekking and heritage walk events each year. The collector has instructed the relevant officials to make necessary arrangements for these events. The meeting also saw the launch of the 'MP Tourism Quiz Competition - 2024' calendar titled 'Boojho Jaano, Phir Dekho Apna Madhya Pradesh' by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. The quiz competition will have an online registration deadline of 8th July 2023. The written exam is scheduled for July 27th, and the winners will receive tour packages from the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board.
