significant traffic congestion due to a large number of vehicles traveling from Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh for the elections. It's estimated that around 1.2 million voters of Andhra Pradesh origin residing in Hyderabad will travel back to their hometowns to vote on Saturday and Sunday, mirroring the travel patterns seen during the Sankranti festival. Buses and trains were packed, with long queues forming at toll plazas on the highway. Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) and Jubilee Bus Station in Hyderabad also witnessed a high volume of passengers heading to Andhra Pradesh. Approximately 400 buses of APSRTC were booked for travel to various destinations in Andhra Pradesh, including Vijayawada, Guntur, Kurnool, and Visakhapatnam.
