traffic congestion, involves tripling and electrifying a 202 km stretch between Kazipet and Balharshah, with an estimated cost of ₹2,063 crore. Earlier sections of the project, including a 59 km stretch between Uppal - Raghavapuram and a 60 km stretch between Sirpur Khagaznagar - Manikgarh, have already been completed. The project is expected to significantly improve freight and passenger train capacity on the Grand Trunk (GT) route, which has seen increasing traffic in recent years.

uttari aur dakshini hisson ko jodta hai. Yeh project traffic jam ko kam karne ke liye hai, aur isme Kazipet aur Balharshah ke beech 202 km track ko triple aur electrify kiya ja raha hai, jiska estimated cost ₹2,063 crore hai. Is project ke pehle parts, jisme Uppal - Raghavapuram ke beech 59 km aur Sirpur Khagaznagar - Manikgarh ke beech 60 km track shamil hain, pehle hi complete ho chuke hain. Is project se Grand Trunk (GT) route par freight aur passenger trains ki capacity bahut badhegi, kyunki is route par aane jaane wali trains ki sankhya bahut badh gayi hai.
